BASIC WINTER TRAVEL AND SURVIVAL-Manning Park

The Basic Winter Travel and Survival course is designed for those that are going out in the winter environment in remote areas. The training is for personal safety and knowledge of the environment and how to prepare, travel, and survive in the winter environments. The course is designed for those that are out snowshoeing, skiing/boarding, and overnight camping.

All Rescue Canada courses and programs meet and often exceed all applicable industry standards including: IRIA – NFPA – WORKSAFE – TRANSPORT CANADA
Rescue Canada operates under the 3rd party Certification of the International Rescue Instructors Alliance standards.
Certification for Technician Level courses is valid for a 3-year term with options to re-certify, upgrade, audit and gain logged practice hours.

When registering for the online course only, a $100 payment in full is made at the time of registration. When registering for a course, a $100 deposit is taken at the time of registration and applied towards the online portion.
