Boat Safety Rescue Technician Level 3 course is designed for those that are required to operate a boat/vessel in a medium to high risk environment. This can be on flat water or on the Swiftwater environment. The course is based upon knowledge of the vessel you are required to operate, self rescue, third party rescue, basic steering to advanced as well as emergency procedure and task specific skills.
This course will be raft based.
All Rescue Canada courses and programs meet and often exceed all applicable industry standards including: IRIA – NFPA – WORKSAFE – TRANSPORT CANADA
Rescue Canada operates under the 3rd party Certification of the International Rescue Instructors Alliance standards.
Certification for Technician Level courses is valid for a 3-year term with options to re-certify, upgrade, audit and gain logged practice hours.
All registrants of the following Rescue Canada courses are required to complete an online component:
- Swiftwater Safety Rescue
- Training Ice Safety Rescue Training
- Helicopter Safety Training
When registering for the online course only, a $100 payment in full is made at the time of registration. When registering for a course, a $100 deposit is taken at the time of registration and applied towards the online portion.
