Fall Protection Level 1

Course Overview
This is designed to apply the practical application of the hazards, control measures and regulations to the theory found in the online awareness course. This course will focus on fall restraint and fall arrest while working at height. In addition to the practical application of fall restraint and fall arrest, the material covered will include company procedures, harness and equipment inspection and use. Depending on the number of participants, this course is expected to take 2-4 hours to complete.



Course Details
The Level 1 Fall Protection course puts the theory from the online awareness module into practical application. Participants learn how to apply hazard controls, regulatory requirements, and safe‑work practices while working at height. Training focuses on fall restraint and fall arrest systems, along with company procedures, harness fitting, equipment inspection, and proper use.
Participants bring their own fall protection PPE for inspection, fit, and hands‑on practice. Additional company equipment and fall protection procedures are provided for demonstration.This course typically runs 2–4 hours depending on group size.
