Adam Laurie

Adam is one of Rescue Canada’s senior master instructors and has been with the organization since 2009. Mentored and trained by subject matter experts, including Master Instructor James Lavalley, he has developed into a widely respected instructor in swiftwater, rope, boat, ice, and helicopter rescue programs. Adam has also served as Rescue Canada’s Operations Manager and contributed to course curriculum, standards, and certification protocols. As a member of a British Columbia Search and Rescue team, he has participated in numerous swiftwater rescue and recovery missions, including work that earned his team the Higgins and Langley Memorial Award. Adam brings deep knowledge, practical skills, and extensive experience to every Rescue Canada course.
