Jonah Shaw

Since 2019, Jonah has worked full-time as an IRATA-certified rope access technician in Victoria, BC, and taught Swiftwater courses all over Vancouver Island, and many other parts of BC and Alberta. Before this, Jonah worked in the adventure guiding industry as a whitewater kayak instructor and Raft guide in Nelson, BC.  As a member of Juan de Fuca SAR and passionate about exploring new places (especially whitewater kayaking destinations), he spends about 100 to 200 days on the river every year.
